why do people not like soccer?
In my honest opinion i believe soccer is not well liked in the USA for the reason that there is nothing main stream. And by that I mean in football we have big guys tackling each other and catching the ball. in baseball we have home runs that go hundreds of miles. And in soccer there is almost the same thing. but in different ways. the tackles are with skinnier people. The ball is sent at times 3/4 of the field. If you didnt know the field is as along as a football field.

Yea man its about time soccer players get some respect. I DONT play soccer andddd i think all soccer players are cool and the sports is alot harder and tougher than it looks.

ReplyDeleteI am not a big fan of soccer personally. I dont see the point in using your feet to kick a ball when you could use your hands.

ReplyDeleteAlthough I don't play soccer, I actually like it. When I was younger , I used to go outside and kick a soccer ball around my driveway. Varsity soccer players like yourself should get more respect.
ReplyDeleteI think that soccer is a okay sport because I never got into it and don't play it much, but it is a tough sport and i give the soccer players a lot of credit.

ReplyDeleteI think the main reason why people don't like soccer is because its not as 'widely popular' as football or anything. Which i think is stupid, soccer is still a sport.
ReplyDeleteSoccer is a very fun sport to play with friends and it is quite challenging because unlike other sports with hand control you need to control the ball with your feet.

ReplyDeleteSoccer is a fun sport to watch. I don't play, but I would rather watch a soccer game than an illogical football game.
ReplyDeleteI don't watch soccer because I think it is pretty boring compared to hockey and football. Buffalo also doesn't have any pro soccer teams such as the Buffalo Bills and the Buffalo Sabres. I think that pro teams bring people to watch their home team and also get people into the sport.
ReplyDeleteIve been playing soccer for 12 years and I love it. I love watching it live and on T.V. Buffalo has a professional girls soccer team called Buffalo Flash hosted by Sahlens Sports Park. Ive attended a few of their games and they are a well skilled and developed team. Soccer should become more popular and Buffalo should look into getting a professional team, and not just a professional hockey and football team.
